Lonely Buoy is a limited edition silk screen print based on Ballintoy Harbour, in County Antrim. The small fishing harbour can be found at the end of a small narrow steep road down Knocksaughey Hill. For those looking to capture a true sense of Irish rural life, it is an ideal stop over whilst touring the coastal route. It has been used as a filming location in the Game of Thrones. This stunning harbour location has been used for exterior Pyke shots and as the Iron Islands.
The artist had blended a combination of both traditional and modern printmaking disciplines, including silk screen printing and hand drawn illustration to create a distinctive body of work, every screen printed is designed and hand printed in the Derry Print Workshop.
