A risograph print is made with a machine that works kind of like a mix between a photocopier and screen printing, layering one ink color at a time to create slightly imperfect prints. A risoprinter uses soy-based inks, which are environmentally friendly. The cool part is that the colors often look grainy, textured, and usually a little misaligned- not as crisp or detailed as screen printing, but that rough texture is part of the style that people love.
